Mercedes-Benz 2020 S-Class Spotted
Sometime back, Mercedes revealed its facelifted 2018 S-Class model. The car had minor tweaks and carried a sleeker design and it seems that now, it’s all in the past with the spy photographers managing to get snappy with Mercedes-Benz 2020 S-Class while it was undergoing testing.
Although, there’s not much information about what’s in the car’s ultra-luxurious exterior, it’s probably safe to assume that the car will be benefitting from a variety of mechanical and technological components.
The testing units that were spotted seem to give subtle hints about what is yet to come. There are even reports that the S-Class in future will come and utilise carbon fibre reinforced plastic during the car’s construction phase for creating a lighter vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz 2020 S-Class executive sedans are being expected to have a wide range of green engines for driving in each corner or a just a single rear axle that’s mated along with a smooth automatic gearbox.
New technology to be utilised in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
It’s being said that the all-new S-Class will have Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
The competition for the Mercedes is tough for now, as its competitors Audi and BMW will have used the technology for automation much earlier. The BMW 7-series models will have the autonomous modes in their 2019 model year, while Audi will pack the system in the 2018 Audi A8 that debuts next year.
